Key Person of #weeeels.
His passion for cars is well-known both in Japan and abroad, as evidenced by his appearance in Vol. 2 of TYPE 7, the official lifestyle magazine of PORSCHE.
His work on cars is themed around his upbringing, and one of his most representative series is TOKYO 911 TALES.
The TOKYO 911 TALES series is a series of works set in Tokyo, where Kei Naito himself was born and raised, capturing moments when people, cars and the city come together.
"The city of Tokyo is vast and made up of many people. The cars and people you see in the works were captured in a single moment in time, but there are countless stories there, which are both sad and precious, which was the theme of the works I created. When I walk through the streets of Tokyo, I sometimes feel nostalgic and mysterious. There are always ‘cars’ and ‘people’ passing by on the streets, and there are 911 stories in this series.”
Born in Gunma, Japan, 2002.
In 2022, he started an Instagram to take up the custom car culture in Japan.
